At Riverstrong, we believe we have a responsibility to make a lasting, positive impact on our planet. Giving back has been baked into the fabric of our being since day one, and environmental conservation is one of our core company values.

Our most recent conservation venture involves planting trees. They make our world more lush, colorful and vibrant — but they are also a powerful tool in fighting climate change.

Trees are an essential part of our habitat; they act as natural air purifiers and are exceptional at pulling carbon dioxide out of our atmosphere. They are so effective, that environmentalists, politicians, and corporations are spearheading reforestation projects to help them meet climate goals. To put the initiative's potency into perspective, reforesting an area the size of the United States can erase close to 100 years of carbon emissions.

We've partnered with One Tree Planted to be part of this high-impact, tangible climate solution. Rather than giving away free swag at a high-profile tech symposium in the spring of 2022, we've decided to ditch the plastic and plant trees! We planted ten trees on behalf of every person who stopped by your booth — helping our planet one conversation at a time.

One Tree Planted plants trees during rainy season, monitors them, and them maintains them to ensure they thrive. In 2021 alone, the organization planted 23.5 million trees across the globe, doubling the number of trees it planted a year before. The remarkable charity safeguards our biodiversity, gives back to local communities, and supports over 35,000 farming families.
